Lamborghini has just introduced the Urus SE to the Indian market—a plug-in hybrid version of their wildly popular Urus SUV. With a price tag of INR 4.54 crore (ex-showroom), the Urus SE now stands alongside the Urus S and Urus Performance models. After making waves at its global debut earlier this year, this marks Lamborghini’s second hybrid venture worldwide.

Design Enhancements

The Urus SE comes with a host of cosmetic upgrades, beginning with a revamped front end that includes a redesigned bumper and grille, along with sleeker LED headlights. The hood now features a floating design, replacing the previous vented style. At the rear, you’ll find a newly designed spoiler, diffuser and Y-shaped tail lamps, giving it a fresh look. The side profile is enhanced with new 23-inch alloy wheels fitted with Pirelli P Zero tires.

Lamborghini also offers a wide range of over 100 color options, including two new shades: Arancio Egon with an Arancio Apodis interior and Bianco Sapphirus paired with a Terra Kedros interior.

Interior Updates

Step inside the Urus SE, and you’ll notice a refreshed front dashboard, now home to a larger 12.3-inch infotainment screen, drawing inspiration from Lamborghini’s Revuelto. The cabin also sports updated air vents, anodised aluminum accents and a 12.3-inch driver’s display integrated into the dashboard and center console.

Engine Specs and Driving Dynamics

Beneath the hood, the Urus SE brings together a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine and an electric motor, delivering a combined output of 800 hp and 950 Nm of torque. Tucked under the floor is a 25.9-KwH lithium-ion battery that gives the SUV an electric-only range of over 60 km. This hybrid setup not only boosts the Urus SE’s power but also improves its power-to-weight ratio to 3.13 kg/CV, a step up from the 3.3 kg/CV found in the Urus S.

The Urus SE can go from 0 to 100 kmph in just 3.4 seconds, reaching a top speed of 312 km/h. With its hybrid powertrain, Lamborghini introduces four new Electric Performance Strategies (EPS), adding to the existing six driving modes. This brings the total to eleven, including familiar modes like Strada, Sport and Corsa for various road conditions, as well as off-road options Neve, Sabbia and Terra. The new EPS modes—EV Drive, Hybrid, Performance and Recharge—further expand your driving experience.

If you’re thinking about making the Urus SE yours, you can swing by Lamborghini’s showroom in Delhi to see it up close.
