Jaeger-LeCoultre has just released a new Polaris watch along with two fresh Polaris colourways. Following the brand’s major reveals at Watches and Wonders, these additions mark a significant update to the Polaris collection, which was initially introduced in 2018. Among the new releases is the Polaris Geographic WT, previously available only as a boutique-exclusive limited edition. Limited to 250 pieces, this model now transitions to wider serial production.
Incorporating the familiar case design found across the Polaris collection, the latest addition, the Jaeger-LeCoultre Polaris Geographic, maintains its distinctive appearance. Known as the brand’s sportiest design, the 42mm diameter of the case is accompanied by a remarkably slim profile, measuring just 11.54mm in thickness. At the 3 o’clock position, a crown is used for setting the local time, while another crown positioned at 10 o’clock is dedicated to adjusting the second time zone display. Encased in sapphire crystal, the timepiece is waterproof up to 200m.
Alongside the introduction of the Geographic model, Jaeger-LeCoultre has also revealed a fresh colour option for both the Polaris Date and the rose-gold Polaris Perpetual Calendar. The latest iteration of the 42mm Polaris Date features a blue-grey gradient lacquer dial, mirroring the Geographic model. Meanwhile, the new 42mm rose gold Polaris Perpetual Calendar showcases a gradient green lacquer dial.
The Polaris Geographic is powered by JLC calibre 939, the Polaris Date by JLC calibre 899, and the Perpetual Calendar by JLC calibre 868. The Geographic model offers hours, minutes and second hands, a second time zone indicator, a power reserve display, and a night and day indicator across 24 time zones. The date includes hour, minute and second hands, a date function, and an inner rotating bezel. As for the Perpetual Calendar model, it features hour, minute, and second hands, perpetual calendar functionality, moon phase indicators for both the hemispheres along with moon age, an adjustment security zone and an inner rotating bezel.
With a 70-hour power reserve, the three models are now available in the market with the Polaris Geographic priced at ₹13.44 lakh ($16,100), the Polaris Date at ₹9.26 lakh ($11,100), and the Polaris Perpetual Calendar at ₹43.83 lakh ($52,500).
