Mumbai has just welcomed a new gem in its gourmet landscape. The Swiss luxury chocolate brand, Läderach, in an exclusive partnership with the renowned FMCG conglomerate Dharampal Satyapal Group (DS Group), has delighted chocolate lovers by opening its second store in India—and its first in Mumbai—at the prestigious Jio World Plaza.

Läderach known for its craftsmanship and rich legacy, has been producing high-quality chocolate since 1962. The brand offers a diverse range of products, including chocolate bars, pralines, and truffles. However, its standout offering still remains the iconic FrischSchoggi—fresh chocolate that has served as its unique selling proposition for decades.

In August 2023, Läderach marked its entry into the Indian market with the opening of its first store at Delhi’s DLF Emporio, bringing its renowned Swiss chocolate craftsmanship to their Indian consumers. Shortly thereafter, Läderach further broadened its accessibility by launching online operations, catering to chocolate enthusiasts in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai. This dual approach not only enhanced customer convenience but also solidified Läderach’s presence in India’s burgeoning luxury market, which continues to witness a rising demand for premium gourmet products.

As Läderach continues to expand its footprint in India, Sanskriti Gupta of Läderach India expressed, “As a strategic market for Läderach, Mumbai has demonstrated exceptional enthusiasm for our brand, evident in the resounding success of our e-commerce offerings. In strategic partnership with the DS Group, we aim to expand our reach and offer the distinctive Läderach experience to a wider Indian audience.
