Tom Brady has quickly become one of the most talked-about watch collectors out there. Even back when he was an ambassador for IWC, he seemed to really understand why collectors get so attached to these pieces. Now that he’s no longer tied to that deal, Brady’s been flexing a diverse lineup of watches—everything from a funky Cartier Crash to a rare Rolex Daytona and a stunning Patek Philippe. And this December, for the first time, he’s taking it a step further by auctioning off some of his personal watches at Sotheby’s.

The watches are part of a special auction called “The GOAT Collection: Watches and Treasures from Tom Brady.” Alongside his timepieces, Sotheby’s will feature other personal items, like the Michigan jersey Brady wore in his final game for the Wolverines, the shirt from his less-than-memorable 40-yard dash at the combine and even a wristband from the Patriots’ historic comeback against the Falcons in Super Bowl LI.

One of the most memorable watches from Brady’s collection now up for auction is his custom Audemars Piguet Royal Oak flying tourbillon, with an estimated price of INR 3.35 crore-INR 6.71 crore ($400,000-$800,000). It features a unique salmon tapisserie dial, with “T-O-M-VII-B-R-A-D-Y” spelled out in baguette gems instead of traditional numerals. The bezel is set with more baguettes, and the rotor is engraved with Brady’s signature.

Along with the Royal Oak Flying Tourbillon, Brady is also parting with four other watches, including a Richard Mille 35-03 “Baby Nadal.” This model introduced RM’s unique variable inertia “butterfly” rotor, which lets the wearer adjust it using the pusher at seven o’clock. By pressing it, you can shift the rotor into “Sport Mode,” blocking its movement—a clever little feature. This one is estimated to fetch between INR 2.51 crore-INR 4.19 crore ($300,000 and $500,000).

As a well-known athlete, Brady also has the classic Patek Philippe Nautilus and Rolex Day-Date in his collection. The Nautilus is a 5980R, a rose gold chronograph. Patek made sure to include a bracelet for it back in 2013 because every Nautilus deserves one. This piece is estimated to sell for between INR 1.51 crore and INR 2.01 crore ($180,000 and $240,000), while the Rolex has an estimated price of INR 67 lakh to INR 1 crore ($80,000 to $120,000).

The fourth watch in the auction is Brady’s IWC Pilot’s Watch TOP GUN Edition, which has the lowest estimated price of the bunch, ranging from INR 10.07 lakh and INR 15.11 lakh ($12,000 to $18,000).

For the auction house, this sale is a big celebrity win, following the recent success of Sylvester Stallone’s Patek Philippe Grandmaster Chime, which went for INR 45 crore ($5.4 million).

It’ll be interesting to see if there’s a “Brady premium” for the watches in this auction. The unique Royal Oak Flying Tourbillon will likely fetch a higher price, as it practically shouts “Brady” with its diamond detailing. However, the other pieces seem less connected to him. While the history of a watch plays a role in its value, the question remains: how much does Brady’s name truly add to the mix?
